Bob Sundvold's KNIGHTS
Academy The
Knights Academy and Coach Bob Sundvold would like to invite you to their
Open House on May 21 and 22, Ozanam Boys Club gym,
421 E. 137th St., Kansas City, MO.
The Open House is for all in-coming 4th through 8th grade boys who are
interested in playing summer basketball, both league and
tournaments, and who are interested in improving their basketball skills
and knowledge of the game.
4th, 5th & 6th grades: 7:00 - 8:30 pm
7th, 8th & 9th grades: 8:30 - 9:45 pm
You may come to one or both days. The boys will run drills and
scrimmage, be introduced to the Knights Academy coaches and meet current
Knights Academy members.
Costs and
Commitment

June and July at $60 per month

Players will be
assigned to a team and a coach according to skill level

Your team will
play in a league at BVNW, GABL, KC Premiere or Okun

There will be two
general practices per week; one team practice (time and place TBD)

Tournament play
will be available at least once per month; two if your team is
interested

League and
tournament fees will be split evenly among team members
-
Uniforms will be
approximately $100-$110

All KNIGHTS
Academy members will be allowed discounted prices for KNIGHTS Academy
clinics and individual lessons
We
recognize that basketball players at this age have a lot of interests
and participate in a variety of sports and activities. We have
structured this program to allow players to work with the KNIGHTS three
months at a time, allowing flexibility for baseball, football, soccer,
etc. (and also to return to original teams for the winter season if they
wish), and then come back to the KNIGHTS Academy for another session.
Our goal is
to provide a year-round curriculum of focused basketball skill
development structured to help each individual player. The KNIGHTS
Academy will also offer a variety of clinics throughout the year and
individual instruction if you are interested in working with a coach
one-on-one.
