KNIGHTS ACADEMY UNDER RECONSTRUCTION
The Knights Academy is using the fall
months for a slight remodel or reconstruction job.
We need to re-evaluate our mission and also have a look at where we are
going with regards to facilities,
league play, tournaments, and over-all player development. Our player
attendance issues this summer were a
concern, and gives us reason to pause and look at where we are going.
I would love to hear from you, the parents
and players as to what you would like out of the Academy, what are our
strengths, weaknesses, and what
can we add to make this basketball experience meaningful and fulfilling for
the players. Please feel free
to email me with your thoughts. During this reconstruction state, we
will hold a few camps and have two
grade levels of teams.
We will have a 7th grade group, the "Gear for Sport Spurs", with the
possibility of having three teams in
that grade, two competitive and a developmental squad, depending on the
interest. The tryout dates are
Wednesday, August 29,
and Thursday, September 6.
Tryouts will be held at Ozanam
gym, 137th and Holmes,
in Martin City, and they will go from 7:00-9:00
pm. Please attend if you are interested.
We also will be
having one competitive 8th grade team for fall play, players should email
Coach Sundvold at

The KNIGHTS Academy is an organization dedicated to
providing high quality, innovative, and effective basketball skills
development on a year round basis. We believe strongly in teaching and
encouraging proper execution of the fundamentals of basketball, and also in
the need to challenge players with more advanced teaching techniques and
methods to evaluate their level of play and progress. |
